All Employees in Chile Accounted for and Safe; Clorox Aids in Earthquake Relief

All employees have now been accounted for and are safe following the earthquake in Chile on Feb. 27.
Clorox is working with regional partners to aid in the relief effort. We have partnered with Red Cross Chile to coordinate joint efforts to help in the disaster zone, and an organization called Teleton to support their TV campaign to collect money for relief. The company has also donated bleach and our plant in Cerillos is currently dedicated to making candles to address the needs of consumers without power. Next week, we will start supporting Un Techo Para Mi Pais (A Roof for My Country) to help build houses in damaged areas.
The company intends to make a donation to aid in the relief effort and assist impacted employees. Check back for more details. |
